Candy is the new co-host of Magic 106.7‘s “Morning Magic” and is one of Boston’s most loved radio personalities. The decision to pair her with David O’Leary brings a double dose of friendly to morning drive.
A self-proclaimed “radio girl” Candy worked her way up the ranks at Magic for 22 years before being tapped for the station’s most high-profile position in morning drive.
When she’s not playing songs on the radio, she’s busy singing them. Candy has performed at the TD Garden, Symphony Hall, The Shubert, Wilbur, and Emerson Majestic Theatres as well as the City of Boston Tree Lighting.
Candy O’Terry has released 5 songs for national airplay and is a member of the cast of the Emmy award winning TV talent show “Community Auditions“. As the creator and co-host of Magic 106.7‘s, “Exceptional Women” radio show and the “Exceptional Women Entrepreneur” series, she has received 36 local and national awards for excellence in women’s programming.

Candy is the President and co-founder of “Boston Women in Media & Entertainment” and was profiled in the book “Boston Inspirational Women“. A warrior in the fight against breast cancer, Candy is the radio spokesperson for the American Cancer Society‘s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk” . She is the founder of the “Think Pink Club” and sings with “Voices of Hope“. She had been a single mom to Chris and Colleen for 15 years before she married Tom Gaffny in 2006, making her now the mother of five.
